It feels as though I’ve been in sales my whole life. Just out of curiosity, though, I ran a quick calculation to see how long I’ve actually been in sales. The discovery: It’s really only 72.2 percent of my life – so, not my whole life, but a significant portion of it. And, it’s brought a lifetime of lessons along the way, specifically when it comes to empathy and the role it plays in successful selling.
